Home and School Association (HASA)

The St. Mary Home & School Association is a parent-teacher organization that promotes a sense of community within the school family by sponsoring school events, activities and fundraising.  HASA strives to facilitate an additional line of communication between school personnel and school families. We sponsor a variety of activities and events throughout the school year.  In addition, we are responsible for the coordination of our school fundraising efforts.  School-wide participation in fundraising is expected.   A group of four parents are elected to the HASA Executive Board to lead this group, who then reports to the school principal.  HASA meets four times during the school year.

Parent Involvement

All families are strongly encouraged to support and participate at St. Mary School in some way throughout the year – this includes any type of volunteer opportunities and participation in our fundraisers.

“Many hands make work light” and any amount of time and effort that families can give to the classroom, the faculty, the students, or the school is greatly appreciated and needed to keep the high standard of education at St. Mary School.

HASA is a parent-teacher run group that helps coordinate all volunteer opportunities and fundraising efforts at St. Mary School.  Any volunteers that will be in our school are required to review the Diocese of La Crosse Safe Environment Program.
